Diana DiConti began her journey at the age of 20 deciding to put her creative juices to the test. After auditioning on a "cattle call" for a television commercial at Universal Studios, the odds were against her. Getting the courage to take a step of faith,  the audition was long, crowded, and overwhelmingly competitive for a major brand tv spot.  The number of people didnt discourage Diana, but encouraged her desire to make a difference and this was a way to get her feet wet.   After a long day, Diana was  chosen and invited to sign on with the Models Media Inc Agency.  Although Diana was busy as a full time student at Cal State Long Beach and close to getting her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science, there was something bigger that she felt she needed to do to satisfy her energy, enthusiasm and artistic character .  Against all odds her contract with the Models Media Inc Agency was as instant as the jobs she immediately walked into.  Her first major television commercial was for the Nike shoe and it became a nation wide televised commercial. This was the beginning of many more offers to be had in the industry. Her Agent Desiree Dubroux became Diana DiConti's mentor and saw the raw ability for Diana to relate and win over any client at hand, as difficult as it seemed. Diana always excelled with each challenge and this led to her being one of the original principal talents for the then new MTV channel that was a phenom that still exists today. In the early 1980's the well known icon Barry Gordy, founder of Motown records decided to showcase to a nation a Motown newby as one of the first music videos to be televised. It was risky decision but once again Barry Gordy made the decision to reveal a talent called Rockwell.   Diana DiConti was casted  along side of the leader of this Rockwell talent.  Little did any know Rockwell was also known as Kennedy Gordy.  Yep, Mr Gordy had pulled a rabbit out of the hat and Rockwell debuted "Obscene Caller". Diana DiConti was then catapulted into another dimension when her warmth, laughter and ability to calm a room full of uptight actors seemed to catch the attention of many Hollywood magnates.   Eventually Diana and her comfortable disposition to deliver the message to a camera turned into a mission for Diana.  She discovered that her ideas mattered. Her natural ability and desire to meet her match where ever they were was stepping out of the box for the Entertainment Industry. Diana took risks. Unconventional risks that even the most seasoned would not step into. Diana was enjoying what she was doing when she realized it wasnt about being center front, but being centered for the "front line" work.  Diana moved into the Elite Agency in Westwood California at the time they were branching out from the minimum height of 5'10" to even be considered for a contract. That was when Petite Elite was being explored and focused on true talent at 5'6" mainly for branding , commercial and advertisement spreads. Diana became friends with Cyb Barnstable who seemed to take Diana seriously and would make sure Diana was in the circle of her friends. The likes of most well known actors and of course the annual Pajama Party at the Hugh Hefner Mansion in Holmby Hills. Cyb was the first cover girl on Playboy that did NOT pose nude, thus setting a bar for dignity and respect. Cyb and her twin sister Trish were the original doublmint twin girls as well as various television shows where they became a household name. Cyb Barnstable is the hostess to the Kentucky Derby yearly at the Barnstable Mansion and is probably one of the most sincere influences on Diana DiContis career and esteem in her work. FInally Diana began working on several television shows such as ER and Baywatch where she became an AFTRA member that led her to regular appearances on the long lived show Saved by the Bell: the NEW Class. Diana attributes her professional experience to the competitive tolerance she acquired while working in the media.  Impressively Diana also was able to work in the Health Field simultaneously after obtaining her career in between the on and off seasons of the entertainment industry. Today Diana has been employed as a consultant for USC as a liason as well as consulting the manufacturing business of the Jewelry district in Los Angeles and gaining the respect of the retailers to believe in giving their business to the companies Diana was dedicated to exposing. Diana is open to all areas of any communicative operation that includes Public Relations, Liaison opportunities, Marketing Management, Brand exposure and all aspects of reflecting a confidence in the task at hand.  Today Diana blogs for Musicians as a hobby. With out pay.Her enjoyment to research the voice behind the song is what drives her to bring out the best in what a musician brings to the table. This earned Diana recognition in the music industry as a  willing journalist if you will who tells it like it is in the best light possible. Diana multi tasks and uses her creative ability to tackle the job.
